Going to like the tubs, as I am not a big fan of drag racing my NT-01's have straight line gripping problems, but not in the turns, your progress is looking good

UPDATE

Received the 12 foot shift cable from Jegs and installed it today. The default cable is 5 feet long and it was way too short. Also began the shifter install process and the first tentative steps of 2 other custom installs. The B&M Pro Ratchet shifter is a FIRST in any 4L60E C5, BTW

Here are the pics

12 foot B&M cable installed.

OK. Onto the shifter install. It's going to be tricky but I'll get there
Stock shifter in the foreground, B&M Pro Ratchet shifter in the background

Let's get the stereo and climate control bracket out of the way

Offer up the stock for reference

Stock stripped - and reference points marked

If I just bolted the ratchet shifter here - it would be way too high and seriously ugly

So that calls for a different approach

Hurm - looks good. Me likey

Mark out the area

And cut it out. I LOVE MY DREMEL !!!

That's a little better

But it needs more cutting

Not a bad fit - but still not right

Back to the Dremel

That's the ticket!!

On the money. This is going to be sweet

Don't try this at home, kids

I have a lot of welding to do to finish the shifter mount, so I will revist that in a bit.

And so onto the next mod

Time to do something about this...

My trusty Dremel to rescue one again

Stock bracket (minus the lightly modded backtab)

Let's start by removing the top stereo standouts

And that now useless lower bracket

Offer up the repositioned climate control

And if you were ever curious to know what was behind your center console - here it is

Oh yes, and a trial fit of my next mod...

I love the weekend because it's when the new EG mod photos arrive online. I think I've deciphered some of the code -

Getting
Radical with

Nuclear
Dremel.

So how are you thinking about getting air-flow to them? Tap on the cabin air?

I don't think I could EVER put any of that stuff back together again, even if I were the one to remove it all. You are a brave(and insane) individual EG.

I would think its possible to have air deflect up the underside of the rear bumper fascia.

But thats just a hunch.
