More like the other way around, Gary
I wish I had but a tithe of your imagination, skill or execution.

22,000 views is a record - especially for a thread that is :
1> Not about babes and has no babe pics
2> Not bashing anyone
3> Not from a Forum Vendor
4> Not a sticky
5> Only ran for 3 months
6> Not a clean Vette picture thread <edit-added for Stu )
It's also a thread that some have described as a "stock install" and "not custom" and "many have done this before, big deal"
Stephen

This is just sick! Wow.. great job, man. I don't own a 'Vette (I drive a 1996 Mystic Cobra) but I follow EG's threads on this forum.
My only query is, what does EG do for a living? And where did he learn all of this workmanship/skills from?

I'm an IT Manager by day - as far away from anything mechanical as you can get. I only spin wrenches at night and weekends, purely as a hobby.
And regarding where I learned my skills - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...&postcount=597

Holden is Australian GM, BTW. All Chevy parts are plug & play.
Point is - I never had enough money to buy anything new, so I had to learn to fabricate and weld stuff. With the help of my friends (also impecunious) I built chassis, cages, rear ends, tubs, body panels, whatever. Began with an old buzz box (arc welder) learned flame control with OA and then MIG.
My misspent youth is finally paying dividends....
