I remember having a 1200 baud modem before the internet. They had "bulletin boards"
Hey, I was in Outer freakin Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar) two years ago and went to an internet cafe to check my e-mail and they had DSL. Everybody had cell phones that worked better than my T-mobile service does here. Funny that a sheep herder in Mongolia can get DSL and we can't get it in some parts of the country here.

Sounds like me.
My first internet experience was in early/mid 90's at my uncle's house. I didn't get internet myself until February of 97'. Running a 28.8 dial-up modem on a Pentium 100mhz. Thought it was the cat's meow. Wow things have changed.
