I've never seen this addressed so I'm sure it's a non-issue but...
Is there any problem with your heels wearing out any spots on the Lloyds mats. The oe mat for the drivers side is vinyl where your heals hit. I have a six speed and would think this is more of a problem with standards?

Hi Steve -
Your heel marks will eventually show up on any mat in use on a frequently driven car.
Lloyds hold up very well - much better wuality than the OEM and some other "premium" brand mats.
I have three sets of Lloyds and would buy them again.
BTW - Southerncarparts was running a free shipping special on Lloyds...
...buy inexpensive clear plastic mats (w/ sharp nubs) to put over them for protection. You can buy a pair of them from your favorite auto parts store, WALMART, TARGET, etc. I just paid $12.95 for a four piece set...don't know what to do with the smaller back seat mats.
I have had mine in my A4 for about three years and my right heal pivots from gas to brake on the emblem which is starting to show some wear. With that being said I would by another set because the quality is good and if you use the car they will wear over time.
My Lloyd's Mats should be arriving any day now. I try to wear driving slippers (with the curved heels) as often as possible to avoid damage under the pedals.
