Here's my baby! A proud Vette owner Once again!
Hi all,
My name is Steve and I live in Parker, Colorado. I'm a member of the armed forces and have searved active duty for a total of 19 years so far! Long story short I promised myself I would replace the 1984 Vette I had stolen from me18 years ago. It was found a week later burned! Another promise I made was if I made it back from Iraq and could still drive I'd get one! Well, I had a 40 year old virgin moment and traded an extensive Star Wars collection straight up for this badboy! Drove to OKlahoma and liberated her! Nerd to in as fast as this baby will do the 1/4 mile!
I have found many things needing repaired I still am loving it once again. Just something about driving a sweet ride like this. I never dreamed I'd ever own a C5. I just installed a factory HUD and man is it a nice touch!
Here she is. When I got her she had all kinds of red accents in the interior. Wanting to bring her back stock I have but the shift **** to replace and that will be it.
She's got new OEM EMT rubber, Front Air dams, and replaced OEM rear side markers. The car had a total black out package installed. I have by the way if anyone is looking It has Headers (unkown maker) and Borla Back Cats. It also has ram air ducts installed. Ive got several catalogs and see many things I'd like to have. Number one will be a new set of Loyds mats. So much to buy so little money!
I love this forum! Thanks Guys!
