Default Local So Cal owner needs help

I bought the 1 piece carbon fiber engine cover from West Coast Corvettes. I was having trouble installing it so I paid Rydell chevrolet to do it. They got it on after two attempts, but it was still incorrect. L.A.P.D. then installed it after some work they did and it's still not right. Somwhere the cover touched the hoodliner and burned it. I went to WCC and told them my story and they told me it was still installed wrong. After an 1 1/2 hour drive they didn't even offer to help me adjust it. Anybody local done this one before or can help me out?? Thanks

Sorry I can't help you with your problem and I'm not surprized by WCC. I stopped there a few months back and they are downright unfriendly. They act like they don't want or need your business....so they got none of it...LOL

That's just wrong to say.....you came in on a saturday but called today 9/5 to ask for appt to have it done right.i was there when you came in you did not ask for us to fit it you said that you would take care of it. the service mgr told you what to do. and where it need to be to be installed the right way. that's not wcc's problem if you had someone else do it and they did not install it the correct way..please dont bad mouth wcc for something someone else did wrong working on your car.

Let see if I've got this right.

You buy from West Coast Corvett a product improperly installed by two businesses other than West Coast Corvette and you are upset with West Coast Corvette.

Grow up!!!

Applologize to West Coast Corvette!!!

You should have had them do the job in the first place if you were not going to be the installer.

I can't believe you posted this!

All I said was you didn't offer to adjust it. Is that bad mouthing you? I've obviously have had trouble installing it, myself and two others. Along with the burning of my hoodliner. I'm just looking for some help on getting a WCC specialty item on my car. Not trying to bad mouth or whine. I just want it on, and correctly. SORRY WCC, my frustration!

If they didn't offer, you should have asked. I have always received good service, but they are pricey!!!!!
