I think you mean spirited driving. I'd say it's driving that is more aggressive than normal, but not wreckless.

If you get a rental at LAS, fill up with gas in Pahrump before you go back. I did, and saved about 50 cents on the gallon over the prices in Vegas. And the rental (a V8 Dodge Charger) displayed full at the return center.
