We have called for the past 3 months a number of times leaving messages asking them to return our calls. I got two people wanting them at my shop. I talked to a sales person from Eckler's and they told me that they have had no luck getting of hold of them.
Best bet is to just call Mike at MCM and see what they can do for you. If you can get one you will be very pleased - great looks, quality and fit.
I've left several messages over the past 7-10 days... No answer.. Plus, Corvette Garage has been calling them for months with no replies... It's not looking good
Jeff, There is a word out there that Carbon Fiber is hard to come by. Not too sure about this. Hey what's with the headers?. Been trying to reach you. Do you still want them???

There was a post a while back saying that the airline industry and military are using all the carbon fiber up.
I just looked at Eckler's fiberglass highrise hood. From the picture it looks very simular to MCM's hood. Has anyone installed this hood? If so how did it fit, paint and how is it holding up? Like everyone else I would prefer an MCM hood but getting one it isn't looking good

I agree completely. It's very reasonable, and if it's a good fit/quality hood, then I'm all for it.. I love the style, but I'd like to hear from a couple of people who have one.

From searching the archives, unless they changed in the past year or so, eveyone I know that got the fake MCM hood was not happy with fit/finish and at the end of the day you still have a fiberglass hood.
You might also want to try a carbon fiber hood from Advanced Composite Products,Inc. (www.acproducts.us) They were up at Carlisle next to the hot tub display. Great fit and finish. Got one for my C5.
