Default CLB Installed.. Still "service column lock"

Ok it all starts here...

I got the dreaded column lock message sitting at my house thank god. Well I called the stealership and they said one recall has been done but one hasnt. Im a DIY kind of guy and decided to reverse polarity to the lock and unlock the column. That worked but the car shuts off at 2mph... So I ordered the CLS from Thunderacing.com and installed it tonight. Still no good. Pull Key then on second try service column lock. I have read something about a relay above the BCM that is the first recall, can someone give me some info on this?

Notice all the ******.

Its Driving me CRAZY!

I'm certainly no expert at this, but you might want to try this: disconnect your CLB, plug the stock harness back together, and then pull the fuses #25 and either 23 or 29 (sorry I don't remember off the top of my head, but they're marked on the cover in the passenger footwell) and let the car sit for awhile. Then reinsert the fuses and see if this clears the electronics. If it does (no fuel shutoff, etc.) then go ahead and install the CLB.

There is a relay that was installed on the earlier recall that has to be removed. There is a lot of info in the sticky's etc. I haven't done mine because of this. Call the vendor you bought it from they can also tell you. It is fixable, good luck.

email me and I'll send a tutorial that shows you wiring diags, pictures and instructions on where to find this relay and exactly how to bypass it. Beware because it's MSN PowerPoint slides with pics, so a very large file...be patient when you download it.
