Default (Pics) Austin Fall Car Show 'n Shine

Today, Longhorn Corvette Club hosted our annual car show. Great club and great show! The weather was gorgeous. It got up to about 80 with clear skys. The show was open to all makes and models of cars. There was a great turn out with 149 cars showing.

My friend Bruce's Camaro and Z06

An awesome Superbee with a 440/6 pack.

I've never seen a Mustang like this one before.

This thing looked like it could kick some major booty in the 1/4!

This looked an a tough grizzled warrior with a cracked windshield and all.

This person deserves some points for showmanship.

My favorite car in the show.

Great pics. Wish I could have been there--it was snowy and rainy here all day! Ugh!

I grew up in Detroit. When I was in my teens, cars like this seemed to be everywhere. Cruising up and down looking for a little action. If I had only known then how valuable these cars would be now, I would have never sold my 68 road runner. The green GTX looks like one that my cousin used to have.

As a kid I used to walk by a Dodge dealership on my way to school. I remember standing there, staring into the windows at the Superbees when they first came out.
