People who drop injurious/hazardous materials on the roadway should be shot. I seriously doubt whether the highway department was even aware of it. That's what you have a cell phone for. You can't always expect someone else to call in a road hazard. When we get notified of something hazardous in the roadway, our public works department is usually out there within 10-15 minutes cleaning it up, even if it's on a state highway.

Sorry to hear about the damage to your tires. Too bad someone hasn't reported just what company left the mess on the highway.

Since you are working with Goodyear anyway, might consider the GS-D3's. Totally awesome tire - even in rain - grips like nothing I've ever run on in any car!

From the sound of it, I'm guessing it was the local tire shop...

Sorry to hear about your bad luck, though.

I didn't want to get away from the run flats, so I bought Michelin Pilot Sport Zero Pressure tires.

I am very happy with them. The sidewall is much thinner and softer, for a better ride.

There is also added curb protection on the Michelins. I need it, since Evie goes to Starbucks 2 to 3 times a day...
