What's the Stupidest thing you have heard about your Corvette?
Guys:
I thought this might be a funny post.
1.) At a hot rod show with my 2yr old son. I had my Z06 truck popped, but not fully open... Just lifted 1/2 an inch. A guy and his son come along to look at my car. I hear behind me that the father says to his son..."Thats a retractable wing on the back, the faster the car goes the higher it lifts up.... Its for better downforce at high speeds".... I looked at him and he was pointing to my truck lid slightly open.....
... I went over and opened my trunk to get my water bottle, and then closed my trunk. I smiled at the guy and went back to my son.... 
2.) The old "Are you compensating for a small Wee Wee ?"... I have heard that one many times. I just tell them (if female
) they will have to come for a ride with me and find out 
.
3.) Does it have NOS ?
4.) How do you take the top off ? I just tell them that the fast Corvettes don't have tops that come off.... (no offence coup/vert guys )

Here's the flip side of, "Is that your daddy's Vette?" . . .
Driving down the road a few mornings ago, in my purple Specter Werkes GTR vert with yellow seats, top down, and I roll up to a stop sign. A fellow grey-haired gent in a Mercedes next to me rolls his window down and with a laugh says, "Give the car back to your son and get back in your Mercedes!"

I work at a college and one of our future young leaders looks at it and says "Whoa, that thing must be fast. Does it have..like a V-tec or something?"
Sad part is, he was serious! I just walked away. It clearly wasn't worth a response.

the best is 'wanna race' especially when its a middle aged guy with his wife and young child in a late 60's mustang vert, at the time i was running open side pipes on my 77, i feathered the throttle and he turned off at the next intersection.

I get asked if its brand new alot, i guess its cause i keep it well waxed
I also had someone walk by it ans se ethe turbo charged elblems and was like no way that vett is turbo, I told him to look there the mufflelers whould be, the expression on his face was priceless
