Default Ccw Wheels!!!

CCW says they sell their product direct. Is there a significant price decrease because of that? For instance Corvette Garage has sets for about $2500. Be interested to hear from anyone who has had experience with them.

I dealt directly with them and I did save money that way. Also, was able to buy wheels made to order size-wise and get delivered with tires mounted and balanced at Tire Rack prices. They were able to get me tires that weren't available anywhere else, including Tire Rack. Their service was excellent and they delivered exactly when they said they would, which was actually pretty fast. I needed them by a specific date for an event that also involved a vacation trip and they came through, much to my delight.

Do they have their rims in stock? Or do they make them as they go?

They make them to order. This way you get exactly what you want as far as size and finish. They are pretty quick. Mine were ready in a matter of just a few days.

When I was considering CCW wheels, it seemed I could get them directly from them for a little cheaper price.

?????? When I shopped around I could not find a better price than direct at CCW and then had the luxury of building exactly what I wanted. Great folks to deal with.

From what I understand, CCW doesn't discount, so go direct. They are great people to deal with!!!

Go direct from them, for all the reasons already posted. At least in my neck of the woods they were spot on for price when it comes to buying tires and wheels Anyone who got tires cheaper, I wonder if they factor in the fact that CCW mounts/balances them at their shop, so you just pull them out of the box and put them on the car.

They also have great customer service. They accidently sent me 2 of them same side front tire (since tires are directional) on one wheel. They sent me a new wheel (free shipping) and I did not even have to send them the incorrect wheel back, until the repalcement got to me, so I had no down time with the car.

I contacted CCW about Chrome 505s and Chris suggested that I get them from WCC. When I called WCC their price for Chrome was only a few hundred higher than Chris' price for the polished wheels. Several people told me that WCC was cheaper than CCW go figure. Also I liked the idea that you only had to deal with one vendor if something goes wrong. CCW doen't Chrome because of the cost to set up a Chrome facility. Try WCC before ordering. Ask for Jake X 222.

Go direct. CCW doesn't always take care of their dealers - in fact, I know of at least one occassion where they have undercut the price of a reseller.

I would ,and did,go direct to ccw
Got the same setup as the above poster did that got his for 4200 shipped, and I got mine for 4255 shipped...........with NEW sensors included( they were pilot sports instead of ps2's,.they werent out then)

As far as the chroming, from what was told to me direct from John at that time, was he was not pleased with the results of the chroming .
I have seen some nice ones, but I am wondering if he saw peeling or somethging that turned him against the idea..

I am not sure, but I got the feeling he didn't want the liability of the chroming part of it.

The price I received was higher for polished. Chris said the enviromental issues were cost prohibitive. He was willing to ship the wheels to what ever chromer I wanted and have them returned for mounting. The cost would have increased by another 300.(shipping) and Chris did feel that there were issues with chroming from different vendors. He felt if he could not supervise the process he would not be comfortable with the results. He said WCC has a Chromer that they use in their neighborhood and they closely supervise their process.
I have a swet of Chrome Y2K wheels from WCC for 5 years and no peeling or pitting.
