#4 here. Not only do I donate to the local animal shelter, my daughter does volunteer work there. A very good cause.

I asked about the same thing in post #372. I think we got here a little too late.

That sux. They are on Ebay for like 8 dollars a piece. Thought about doing that. 24 bucks for 3 though seems kinda steep.

No paying it foreward. I'll pay shipping if you put a buck or two in your local animal shelter can.

Here is what you get.

It's the latest that I could get from the GM training center. It show most of the three digit alpha numeric option codes for all GM cars.

Dave
I already do donate to the shelter.... but will even more! Consider it done! I'm #5

Default Public calling out

It may just be me but I don't think it is in the "Pay it Forward" tradition to publicly call out a forum member who hasn't sent an item as promised.

I'm sure the receivers have sent PM's or e-mails seeking the ETA for the treasured gifts. But they are GIFTS. After all you didn't have to pay for the item.

What with the holidays and all, the sender could have been overwhelmed, being stricken by the flu, or found out the item they thought they had can't be located in 23 boxes of "Stuff'.

I can personally appreciate the angst over not obtaining the desired item, the bowling over the UPS man/gal each time they pull up in the neighborhood but geez, git a grip.

This is the holidays and somebody didn't end up something free. Lighten up and leave it for private e-mails and PM's

If I had more spare stuff I'd post more for all

Moderators - Is it just me????

Well said. I didn't have anything to pay it forward and therefore didn't ask for anything. It became apparent that some received more than they gave. It's the spirit of the giving that made this so successful.

Now that the holidays are past (sort of) I will throw in some stuff that is lying around in the garage.
Here is what I have....
I have 8 (yes eight) wagon wheel center covers/caps. If you need one, two or all eight, you can have them. I use the rims for autocrossing/racing, so I don't have a use for the covers.

I have 2 (yes two) damaged windshield washer tanks with the top cap damaged. Both were damaged when my hood stop was recessed too far. They are good for practicing painting or whatever.

I have a single coolant reservoir with the top hose that leaks slightly. I was going to JB weld it back together, but a new one was cheap from Fred Beans (and Gene C. way back when).

If anyone wants/needs these things, then send me a PM. As long as shipping is cheap (less than $10), then they will be sent on Saturday. (I work the rest of the week.) If the need is urgent, you can pay for shipping only.

I could use coolant and windshield tank to practice painting before doing mine. I'll send a PM.

For the last several years, there has been a thread called "Pay it Forward" Where members look around their garage and see what they have to give to other members. That member, in turn offers up something for someone else to claim.

Gone to Cozmo
