I agree that you should get the newest vette you can afford, however, you also have to drive it so it should also the be the one that makes you the happiest. My 99 had had to have the horn fixed and it will be going in for a new oil pressure unit and possilbe the column lock---although I am not positive that is what the code it for. My husband has an 84 and asside from regular matinenance the only thing we had to put into it was a tranny. My daughet has a 76 and it will need to be rebuilt becaue it has sat since 1998 but when it was parked---it ran well and had no major issues. Even after sitting from 98 to 2006---it took a could of srpays of ether and 3 tried to get her to turn over. Do your home work, Do a carfax on each---even though that will only work if an accident has been turned in--and if you do not have much knowledge about the cars or mechanicals---have a friend or a trusted mechanic check it out for you...Whatever you choose I t must be something you are happy with and have done over with a fine tooth comb. I'm sure you will make the best decision for you..

Good luck
