CCW Factory Tour (Massive Pictures)
I meant to post these pictures earlier this year, and then misplaced the pictures (don't ask). I finally found them and thought I would post them for everyone that wanted to know about CCW wheels.
Steve@CTCorvette, Cheezila and I got a personal tour of the CCW facility in Daytona, Florida in February of 2006.
John, the owner of CCW, spent almost 2 hours showing us around and explaining the process of how CCW wheels are produced - from raw chunks of aluminium to forged works of art that adorn many show winning (and daily driver) Corvettes.
Thanks again to John for taking the time to show us around and being such a hospitable host
Here are the pics.
Raw aluminium
Massive CNC machines (and other secret sauce stuff)
Blank faces for 3 piece wheels
More forging machines
Wheel in the process of being made
Before polishing and finishing
Yup, they do wheel...
And tyre packages
Here is Cheezila & Steve@CTCorvette
3 piece wheels, in process...
Steve@CTCorvette demonstrating the superb quality.
Check that awesome glow..
This is the second floor...
And this is the ground floor.

Awesome pics Stephen!!! Wish I lived closer to FL so I could have seen my wheels being made. Its no wonder the quality of CCW wheels are exceptional, especially after seeing their facility. Thanks for the pics!!!

Man - for wheels that are all supposedly custom made - I see a lot wheels sitting on pallets on shelves.
