Well new to me. I picked up my 02Z today from houston. this is my first vette, a childhood dream come true. WOW!!! this car surpasses my dreams. I got to drive it about 7 hours back and I had a stupid grin on my face the whole time, my face hurts now seriously this car rocks, bought it sight unseen from forum member Fast-C5. the whole process went great, Sean went out of his way to make this easy for me, picked me up at the airport and even made sure I had a full tank of gas (or at least money to fill it back up). The car was perfect, exactly as described. Thanks Sean!
I Know, I know, add pics. ill take some tomorrow when its light out. And how the &^%$ do you get idiots in giant trucks to not get so close at red lights? seems like they all want to see how close they can get without touching it!

Reason: PICS ADDED!!!
It's a perception. If you actually got out and looked most times they are not right up against you. I experienced the same thing in my C4 as well drove and drives me nuts today. My thoughts are why get so close, someone hits them from behind they in turn hit you. I feel more comfortable when good folks give enough room that you can see the front of their car, not where their lights disappear!
Congrats on the new Vette. Be careful and get to know and understand how it behaves, they will surprise you.
CONGRATS!!!!! I picked up my first Vette last week, and I also have not stopped smiling. My wife thought that I was going to sleep in the driveway the first night. ENJOY!!!!
I know the feeling and its amazing. I picked up my first vette back in aug 06 and let me tell you, it was an absolute joy driving it back home suprising suprising my parents at the fact their 18 year old son just brought home a red corvette... moments in life like the one i experienced are needed. Enjoy the car and Happy Motoring
Congratulations
You are a lucky man. I bought Sean's last corvette (torch red 2000 Coupe)
I picked it up from Houston and me and wife drove it to California, what an awesome trip. Car is in New Zealand now, where I live.
Hope you enjoy your vette as much as mine.
Im sure Sean will miss it. He just sent me an email of YOUR car driving away.
