Default Pictures of Modified Stock Hoods?

Has anyone modified their stock hood? Maybe by cutting out a section and adding a duct or vents? Any pictures would be awesome so I can get some ideas.

People just don't want to share their awesome ideas so we don't copy
I don't blame them haha

I'm going to do something soon, hopefully it turns out nice and I can post pics of it.

They're probably more afraid of being ragged on!

At the top of the page is a search icon. Click on an type in Brandin. It should pull up a link where he had his hood cut for the Maggie.

Interesting idea - with the price of aftermarket hoods, and the fitment issues some aftermarket hoods have (or so I've heard), it would be interesting to see if anyone has attempted hood mods. Anyone??

What does everyone think of a viper front hood scoop painted the color of the car?

I remember a post a few years ago where a forum member cut out the center section of his stock hood and then hand laid fiberglass into a high rise hood. Came out pretty good, but had to be a lot of work involved. Might be easier to just buy the aftermarket ones.

Im looking to just cut out a section and fit in a bought grille or scoop
Should be very simple to do, but it's just finding the right part to use for a classy look

Did you try looking at Forum member Brandin as I stated above? I thought it was kind of cool. A mix of the old and new.
