hey does any one know how to determine which suspensions is f45, f55 or z51 on a vet have?
because i have a 98 vet coupe. and i don't know which one i have and i want to know before i lower it.
Your 98 might have the codes listed under the drivers rear storge compartment cover. Or passaggers side, its been a while since I had a '98.
F45 Chassis, Selective Real Time Damping
F55 Continuously Variable Electronic Real Time Damping Suspension, 03-04
FE1 Base Suspension
FE3 Suspension System, Sport (part of Z51)
FE4 Suspension System, Z06

if you have a selector **** on the center console with TOUR SPORT PERFORMANCE you have f45
As someone else posted, if you have a switch for ride selection on your console, you have the F45. If not, you could still have one of two suspensions. Look under the front at the crossmember and see if there is a power steering fluid cooler. If so, you have the firmer Z51. If not, then you have the base suspension.
