Ok Guys, Please Help! I Really Want To Put A New Exhaust On My 2000 C5 Vert. I Recently Was Quoted 1,100 For 2 Flowmaster Mufflers Installed. That Seems A Bit High To Me. I Really Would Like Some Borlas. What Can I Get For My 1,100?? Seems I Could Get More Than 2 Flowmaster Mufflers. Ebay Has Borla Systems For 900. Help Me Out Guys! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Hang around the C5 parts for sale section, or post a WTB thread there. Most used catbacks seem to go for around $500.
FWIW- I'm more than happy with my cutouts on the factory mufflers- The best of both worlds!
Go to the c5 parts for sale, and find a nice set of Borlas that you want at a good price, purchase them, then install yourself.
Or rent a lift or take to a muffler shop. Just don't let them make you assume the position, on a C5, a simple muffler change is a half hour job. No joke!

Just a little piece of advice from someone who currently has the Flowmaster catback. I NEVER put anything but Flowmaster set-ups on all my old Street Rods because of how much I loved that sound. If for any reason you're considering the flowmasters for the way they sound on other cars, DON'T put them on your Vette. They sound absolutely nothing like that Bad-A$$ Flowmaster tone I love.
I listed to several different sound clips before making the decision to go with the Corsa Indy/Pace catback w/Tigershark tips. (I paid $995 for mine Brand New) There's no drone at cruising speeds yet it comes alive at WOT!!! There's a lot of good sounding catbacks out there so listen to a few of them before making a decision.
I just installed Borla Stingers on my 02 Coupe about 1 hr ago. Love em!! I have a set of Corsa Touring that I bought in case the Stingers are too loud??? Well, looks like I'll be posting the Corsa Touring for sale once I take some pics of them. Installing the Borlas with an Automatic was a little tricky for the passenger side. Ya need to force the flange up and over the heat shield. Keyword Force. Once that happen, the rest was like stealing cookies from a girl scout. The choice is all yours, its all about the individual taste and personally I like the lemon bars, err, I mean the Borlas!
