Default What is RTD (labeled fuse under hood fuse box)

I am missing two fuses in my fuse box a large fuse and a mini fuse. Looking on the lid they are referenced as RTD. What does that stand for. What is RTD. There are some holes empty where there is no metal contact for fuses, but in both of these empty slots there is metal tabs for the fuse to fit into.

Ok commence with the stupid jokes, i just can't figure it out.

Thanks!

Real-Time Dampening, applicable for F45 suspensions models only.

Real Time Dampening - Also known as option code F45 or F55.

Since they are missing you obviously don't have that option.

Glad I could resist the stupid joke bug this time.

There were fuses in there at one time. Why would someone remove them? If shocks were changed to an "incorrect shock" would that be a reason to pull the fuses?

Do you have the F45 option? If not, it would do nothing.

If you had this option to begin with it will be listed on a label in the car. Depending on the year its in different spots. My 98 its on the back of the driver side cubby hole cover in the back. Others I believe are on the glove box door.

If the shocks were changed and you had this option several things will have been done to the car to prevent codes and the car from not running correctly. The fuses would be pulled, the control module removed and the option deleted from the cars computer, and change the center console switch. Also someone could have used to resistors to trick the computer into thinking that its still there when in fact it wasn't.

I wouldn't worry about it if your car is behaving normally.
