Default Here ya go Tim....

Tim, thanks for sending them over. I worked up these as just 2 options for how I think they should be done up. I am more then willing to make other options so that people can see what a reality these can actually be.

Folks as tim has stated, we need people to pre-order for these to get them into production.

Here is what I believe speedhut can do....and Tim please back me up on this.

As Tim has mentioned all we need is people to sign up and pay $1.00! Thats it. No tricks. If you change your mind later, your out a buck....not a biggie.

I didn't see any place for the 300KPH option. Is that still going to be available?

If your "in" please take a second to preorder and post up your order confirmation number. You have really nothing to lose. If anything at first it was a whole buck. But now Tim has already stated he will pay everybody back their dollar if they don't get the pre-required amount of people.

Jeff those turned out awesome!!!! Great job!

The reverse glow EL gauges will look just like that lit at night, with the exception of the MPH/Km/p icons, they are actually lit from behind the faceplate with a bulb and will not change...

brian ns04 Yes it will be available... After the pre-order requirement is met and they go into production you will finalize your order and make all the customizations not shown on the generic "design your own" graphic.

I would really like to get optional graphics to them as options, for intance the Jake skull! Any other ideas????????

Just a reminder, the Speedhut logo can be deleted for a $10 charge, I need to call them and hash some these charges out as there is an incentive for the first 25 orders that I think should be expanded...

I hope we're successful with this, I've heard nothing but great things about their faceplates! I can't imagine what it'll be like to finally have Red gauges that I can see during the day! Here's my best attempt, a tinted lense;

At night

But it's too dark during the day... But this is an excellent example of the Red reverse glow with a Black face. I'm thinking of adding flames to mine!

as Tim mentioned Brian, Yes, the 300KPH option will be available! and you will be able to fine tune this when the order goes through.

So please Brian, if you have a second....pre-order and post up your confirmation number. You got nothing to lose man.....only to gain some gauge faces that actually work at night!

hmm yeh if you could. If you could double check my math, that would be good too. I came out that we only needed 12 more using the 20 people required as the baseline.

If we could get people to post up their confirmation number that would help as well. There might be a few out there that are "in" and think they preordered but never actually followed through all the way and didn't receive a confirmation number. My goal would be hopefully to attract 1 or 2 new people a day. Hopefully that will keep this thread from disappearing and we'll get the faces made.

yes very true. Oh tim by the way...I tried going to that link that shows the installation and it isn't displaying pictures any longer. I remember this link before and your friend did have pictures up. Not sure if he had more then one link but that would definitely help. Do you think speedhut will be able to assist us in a dimmer/switch setup that will plug in directly in the corvette. This way we have a simply plug and play. I read through your friends instructions and honestly I got a little lost and Iam sure unless your a technician your probably going to lose quite a few people to attempt to do this for fear they are going to mess something up. So yeh if we could work on a proper step by step installation instruction so you can wire these into the car and have everything work. That would be great Tim and others.

Thanks! I altered it a little bit. It looks like from Speedhut's site, the blue is darker when unlit, and bright when lit. Here's a before and after of the blue reverse-EL:
