Hello all, two weeks ago I bought my first Corvette. I found an 02 coupe 6-speed with only 21,400 miles. I'm still walking on air, it's an awesome car.
Here's a picture for you there will be more later!!

Be sure to find the local guys up in NoVa... They are a great group. - The forum has a regional area and the Southeast section usually has a few events posted in that area.
To its Pewter, welcome to the fold. I just bought our C5 about a month ago and still go out to the garage to stare at it. I wanted your color with red interior, but the wife thought it would be "flashy" so we settled on this black one.
I saw your post in the Tech section on the CLB. I have the same basic history and recalls as yours, have the CLB laying here on my desk. Just trying to get up the nerve to tear into the dash. I'm hoping nothing gets messed up because at the moment everythings working perfect.
jdsaengine --> I've got my dash undone, waiting for the CLB to get here. I"m watching our posts on the sticky to see if someone can maybe confirm my approach is correct. It feels better to get some nodding heads when you're doing something like this.
Congrats on YOUR new car, it looks great. Any color was OK for me, except black (too hot) and silver. I think the pewter looks understated, not too flashy. Anyway, I'm LOVING this car and I can't stop grinning when I drive it.
our previous C4 was triple black coupe which burned our behinds when we got in. I serched the internet for 4 months to get a black C5 vert with a tan interior so my bottom would not suffer. Finally found one 600 mi. away. Drove it home on Penn turnpike in driving rain the whole way. Boy was I nervous. Loving it ever since.
