[Z06] Won't go in reverse

Won't go in reverse
A few weeks ago. I picked my Z up from the tranny shop after getting rebuild and new clutch. When I picked it up it was throwing a reverse inhibitor trouble code but the tranny guys just cleared it hoping it would go away. I drove it a few times and reverse was hard to get, now it won't go into reverse at all. I hear the reverse inhibitor solonoid can be overcome with a little extra force so that shouldn't be the problem. Any Ideas?

Another easy thing to check is whether the shifter cradle is properly centered and locked down tight. If it's not, rightward positioning of the cradle can lock you out of reverse.
Here is the procedure for adjusting the shifter cradle.
May turn out that your issue is the reverse solanoid or something else. But worth checking the cradle, because if that's the problem, the fix is simple.
