Here's a story that everyone but me laughed at
Yesterday morning I was washing my vette cuz it was kind of dirty and I had nothin else to do, so I washed it and put some tire shine on it and the whole shibang besides waxing it. So while I am washing it a kid from my neighborhood came up to me and asked if I would take him for a ride, I really dont like this kid but I feel bad for him because he has a really bad case of ADHD and it hurts him socially, so being the nice guy that I am I said let me finish cleaning my car and Ill take you. A couple minutes before I finish my mom calls me and asks if I could go pick up a friend and take him to his moms car because it was about to get a ticket from the parking maid. So I drive over to my neighbors house and tell the kid that I will take him when I get back and asked him if he had cut our grass yet (my mom gives him 10 bucks to cut out grass). I get my friend to his moms car and what not then I get back. Our grass is'nt cut but I wanted to get this over with, so I take him for the ride and buy him an ice cream (didn't let him eat it in the vette tho) and we came back and I went inside to hang out with some of my friends. He starts to cut the grass while I go out with my friends to the store real quick. On my way back I get a call from my sister saying patrick got grass on your car (I left it with the top down) and I thought ok theres going to be some grass on the side of my car. I get home and somehow there was grass completely covering the side, all over the hood and trunk and all in the interior. I flipped
and the grass was wet from him cutting it so it left spots all over the paint when I whiped it off. So I took the next half an hour cleaning off the grass and vacuuming my car.
I dont really get it, I do something nice and then that happens to me? I cant win

I was the local ADHD (think they called it ADD back then
) kid. Got kicked out of elementary, middle, and high school. Landed in reform school
Despite all this crap I'm going for my masters now even though I am a little old (32). When I was 8 there was a kid that was on my baseball and football team who's father had a C3. It turned out his father grew up with my father in the "old" neighborhood. Me and the son got along great becuase we were both troublemakers One day over his house I saw the Vette and just stood there in total amazement of what the hell the car was. It was the most beautiful car I had noticed, it was even cooler than the General Lee. My friend's dad saw me staring at the car and offered to take me for a ride. He stepped on the gas and I flew back in the seat. I was instantly hooked on Corvettes. .My friend thought I was crazy wanting to drive around in a car made of plastic. Your toast in an accident Sadly my friends father passed away a few years later from Cancer
I lost touch with my friend over the years, our mothers didn't like us hanging around becuase all we did was get into trouble Fast foward to a few months ago, I ran into him at the liquor store
After rembering about the old times a little I reminded him about how much I loved that car his father had and said look at the black Corvette in the parking lot, its mine He said, "you must being doing pretty good these days (CF knows the drill here )". I said I was getting by and preached how affordable these things actually are
BTW, I don't think the kid did that on purpose, we ADHD people do dumb things, let him know how careful you need to be around these cars

Safety Car
What more can I say, the kid is an a$$hole.....don't take him for anymore rides. Next time he comes over to mow the lawn, put the Vette in the garage.
