Default exhaust question

Simple question for you guys, are the cats made in the h-pipe meaning welded? Are do they pull a part. And how do people connected LTH to their stock h-pipe?

The cats are welded in to the stock exhaust. Many people here opt to go with some high flow cats and an x-pipe when doing the LT header mod. I guess if you wanted to keep the stock cats you could have a shop weld you up a flange and bolt the rest of the stock exhaust to the header flange.

I don't plan on keeping the cats. I'am going with the off road set up. Just wondering if the h-pipe and the cats were one piece.
