The problem with owning two Vettes…

It's obviously HER fault - not yours. Even though it was your hand that started the ignition of the moving car - your foot that caused fuel to be fed to the engine of the moving car - and your inability, at that particular moment, to see what was behind you.
My wife did a similar thing to my C5 a few years back - while driving her Olds. Heck, she's STILL owned.

Why not report the "accident" to your insurance co., and let them fix any damage? There will be no police report, ticket, points, etc. And if your insurance co. tries to raise your rates - just switch to another company. Since there will be no "public" record, the next insurance co. will not charge extra (unless you tell them about the claim).
I backed up (from my garage) into a friends car (in my driveway) a few years back. Reported the accident to my insurance co. My friend got his car repainted (and was thrilled!), I got my car fixed, and got no flack from the insurance company.

Oh Thank God!! At least now I know that I'm not the only one. I did the exact same thing with 2 major differences, 1) No Corvette involved 2) Cost $800 for the repairs to my truck and her car (All in all, pretty cheap)
