Default The problem with owning two Vettes…

So my fiancée takes my car to the store and parks in the driveway when she returns because I am working in the garage. A while later I need to move her car out to get in the attic. I jump in her car and back it out while watching in the driver side and run right into my car!!

I ran the right rear of the tail of her purple 92 down the door of my yellow 00. Wow do I feel stupid.

The good news for me is that I was able to remove the purple “racing stripes” off of my car and there are only a couple minor scratches in the clearcoat. Her car, however, has several spots on the rear where it rubbed the paint completely off. The bad news for me is that she is insisting that she drives my car until her paint is fixed!! Crap.

Has the wedding been postponed until the repair is completed to her satisfaction?

Just takes a moment of inattention to have a bad day. Good luck getting the wife's car fixed.

You had better drop her like a hot potato....

You are now so owned...You will never hear the end of if for life...
Every time she needs to put you in your place she will tell the story...
Evey time she wants something she will use the fact that you "ruined" her mint '92

Dude, you are SOOOO owned now. Better get it in the pre-nup that she can never use this against you, or you'll NEVER hear the end of this one.
Oh, and sorry for your pain.....cause it's going to last a longggggg timeeeeeee

LOL after reading everyone’s comments about being owned, I have launched a preemptive strike. I phoned friends and family from work today and told them that SHE back the car out and hit my car. HAHA should be a fun evening.

A 3rd vette would solve that problem. If you can't swing for that yet then let the mods begin on the resto project...

The biggest problem I've encountered so far is figuring out which one to drive each day!

In some way I think I am better off to only have one vette.
