My wife and I do that ocasionally. We fend for ourselves. When we discuss our dinner plans, we ask "can we just fend?"

Hi Cozmo -

I made my Candied Cajun Stuffed Pork Chops, with red beans and rice.

Using a pork tenderloin roll, I cut the chops 1 inch thick and then make my own cajun style stuffing (fresh ground pork, bread crumbs, onion, mint and ground cayenne pepper), and then I use Jalapeno jelly and white wine sauce for a glaze.

I always have a house full when I make these.....

best regards -

Had some serloin burgers, chips, watermelon, cherries, strawberries, and some brownies to top it off and then it started down pouring so we went in my patio and watched the storm pass over for the next couple hours. Lazy but fun

Sounds like everyplace except CA and the SE are getting soaked. Wish we could send some of this rain their way.

Yeah, we needed it. But it seems to be as true as science that it pours every year on the 4th. Makes for some good viewing at the park with all the girls in white shirts running around though

Turned it down because I heard there was no Blue Bell ice cream.

No, I was tied up with other things.

Maybe next time.
