anyone heard of traction warming up message?

Yea, mine had done it a couple of times but the odd thing is every time it was after driving the car several miles, stopping for about 15 minutes then driving again. It has never done it when stone cold which would make at least some sense.

Could the message have said "Active Handling" rather than "Traction"? See following:

9.1.) I keep getting the message "Active Handling Warming up" - what does it mean?

The owner's manual also speaks to this message.

You are correct and that explains mine. Both time I was pulling out of a parking space that I had backed into.
