Harmon Kardon Drive+Play Install
I am in the midst of installing a first generation Drive+Play unit in my C5. The article in this month's Corvette Fever has been very helpful, but I do have a question for anyone out there who has performed this install.
The article does not address how to mount or secure the display unit in the area where the ashtray was. Sure, it fits in there, but just flops around and interferes with the door when opening and closing.
Is this the common approach everyone is using, to just leave the display loose and let it flop around? Due to the depth of the ashtray opening in back of the display, there is no easy way to mount or velcro it in place. Anyone out there find a clever solution?
