EXOTIC SOUND: Any exhaust provide this??
I have LG Pro Longtubes and I'm looking to move from a deep throaty bass to a more exotic sound.
Which exhaust system will give me this. From what I understand, it is either the Corsa Pace Car or Corsa Touring.
Please give me your feedback!

My friend loved how his longtubes, x-pipe, hi-flow cats, and borla stingers sounded - he said it sounded real exotic, but at the same time, it was too loud for his tastes.
I've seen/heard a few clips of the ti catback with the a&a "bypass" mod done, and I thought that had a nice exotic "snarl" to it..

Is Corsa heavy? A friend told me that Corsa weighs more on one side than Borla does total. I dont know it thats true.
The Stingers do sound excellant. Very muscle car like in my opinion. The Bullets I thought sound more exotic.More of a race car sound.

I have the LG LT's with the high flow cats and the stock Ti mufflers. I LOVE that sound. It's kind of snarly. Reminds me of a C2 365/375 with the off road mufflers (not side pipes). Ask anyone with this setup and they'll say the same.

Definately Corsa Ti. Very loud, and crackly. Also lighter than even the stock Ti. Problem is, they're very expensive, and I'm not sure they make them anymore.

If you can find a used set of Corsa TI's, that will get you the sound you are looking for. There is a set for sale in the C5 parts for sale section, you might want to check them out. I love mine!

Corsa Ti's
I spoke with Corsa today. The system you are referrring to, Corsa Ti's, are no longer in production. If they were, the cost would be around $2,500 for the set up. The construction, except for the material, is identical to the current Pace Car or Indy set up. There would be no difference in sound with the Corsa Ti's or the Corsa Pace Car systems.

I used to think the Corsas had an exotic sound untill I pulled up next to a Ferrari. The Corsa system is definitly the most exotic sounding system I've heard on a vette. I think Tubi has a vette exhaust but I haven't heard it. I have the borla stingers on my car and love them, my dad has corsas and they sound great too! Good luck

I don't know if you can make it sound exotic unless you rev it to 8K RPM. It think that the reason exotic cars sound that way is because they are usually smaller displacement per cylinder and rev higher.

I have Kooks LTs, no cats, with the Corsa pace car exhaust, along with a monster cam, and I think its the best soundin exhaust around! I get people askin me about it all the time, and sayin thats the way a vette should sound!

Z06's sound like a cross between an Exotic and a muscle car.
There was a video of an ATI built Z06 with 180 degree headers that is as close as you're going to get to exotic. Get those, a light weight drive train, and push 7k, and I'm sure you'll get something close.
Uploaded it..

I'm not exactly sure what type of sound you'd prefer, but here is a short clip of mine pulling out of the driveway going down the road...
02 Z06 - long tube headers, x-pipe - dual Borla Stingers - vararam ...
I think it sounds great, even better in the very near future, now that the Maggie and other accessories are being installed.

Either they had no idea what they were talking about or they flat out lied to you.
