There's just something about absoluthank's previous car that just turns me on! Don't know if it's the wheels, the blacked out windows, the stance, the spears, or ALL of the above!!!

It was a beauty, for sure!!!

Thanks to Vert'd Z0 for posting those pics of my old car.

It was something I only noticed after I sold the car, but in most of the pics, they just look like 2 chrome "lines" going across the vent. I wish I had taken pics from some other angles, as they really, really look sharp in person. In fact, when I switched from the CCW 505's to the T10s, hardly anyone noticed! All they kept complimenting were the spears, and how well they flowed with the car/wheels. I was like "Hey! Throw those expensive wheels a bone people, nevermind the $200 spears!"

For the record, I used the best 3M tape available to secure them to the side, and then ran 2 screws through the vent screen and into the holes provided in the end of the spear. I didn't want to drill holes into the fender!

i finally installed mine today (pics to come) and i totally agree. they work so well with the t-10's. i'll try to get some "higher up" shots to show the curved/radiused edge of the spears and how they mirror the radiused edges of the wheel "spokes".

i don't know where/when you got yours, but the ones i got from west coast corvettes (shout out to joseph) came with a set of fender screens and two screws per spear that went thru the screens from the backside and then each spear had 3m body tape to adhere them to the fender/cove area. i wouldn't want to drill a hole thru my fenders either.

Well, the thing is I already had a set of powdercoated black screens epoxied to the inside of the fenders, so I felt like I needed to stick with those instead of the ones supplied with the kit.

I am sure that if you peeled back the 3M tape, you would have found 3 more screw holes in case you wanted to screw them through the fender. The only reason I know is because I bought my set gently used...although some of the 3M tape had come off when I recieved them. So I was able to check them out before I reinstalled new tape.

Can't wait to see some pics!
