yet so very sad in a way. I finally put my car up for sale, officially that is. Hopefully my cobra will sell for what I am asking in the next 5-6 months and I can start shopping real hard for my 2004 EB ZO6. Yes! It's just hard pulling yourself away from something you love so much and have put so much time, money, and hard ache into. So hopefully soon I will be getting myself into a vette and ready to drive her in August when I come home on leave from Iraq.
That Corvette will be so much more fun than that Ford!
I came over from Ford. The Corvette is the most fun to me. When you get in and drive something just clicks and you know you are driving a Corvette. You feel like you and the car are connected. I loved my friends Mustangs and they were fun but I didn't feel connected to it.
LMB would be the way to go considering 2004 there was no EB. They are very close in terms of color. Good luck and thanks for your Service to our country.
I have the mustang; although it's a GT, and the corvette, but the corvette is a totally different beast. If I had to pick between keeping the stang and the vette, I would keep the corvette no questions asked.

Thanks for the info, I just assumed they made a 04 EB..well, then 03 it is.

Have a safe return from the sandlot.
Yeah I can't wait, I love my cobra, and it's fast as all hell..but I want something refined. Something without all the damn squeaks, clunkiness, and rattles..plus the doors are so damn heavy and the shifter is 2 miles away. You get what you pay for.
How's the tranny in the Z, is it smoother than a cobra's T-56 (I am guessing a T-56 is a T-56)?

Oh yeah, the "Ford squeaks". Every Ford has them. They did a good job on the Corvette though. There is very minimal noise due to squeaks and rattles. Maybe it's cause my exhaust it louder then all of it

The mustang is a great inexpensive muscle car. Build quality isn't all there though.
How is the tranny in the ZO6, meaning is it clunky and kinda sloppy like the Cobra's T-56? The Z has a T-56 correct? I know nothing about vettes except that they are mans best friend.

Heh. I'm headed to Kuwait next week, so I feel you... I've also had two worked 5.0 GTs and a 2003 GT, so I know all about Ford's quirks...
The Z06 uses the MN12 tranny which is basically a T56 with shorter gears 1-4. Mine is smooth as butter, but needs a aftermarket shifter to replace the factory broomstick. Replacing the clutch is a pretty involved operation, so make sure you check out the one in your potential purchase.
Feel free to hit me up with any questions either here or by PM and keep your head down over there! Ben

Thanks bro. The T-56 is so damn clunky, doesn't shift very smooth if you ask me. I will probably put a Spec in when I get the car.
Good luck in Kuwait and stay safe bro. Thanks for what you do.
THANKS to you and the rest of our service men and women that spend time here. We appreciate everything you do for your country. You folks are our HERO's! Ron
