My car w/ the tigershark nose

Ferrari 599

I was staring at Motor Trend the other day when the similarities in the openings and lower edge/shape of the bumper jumped out at me.

Notice the in the title... I don't actually believe that a deisginer from Pininfirina took notice of an aftermarket C5 nose.

I do believe the original Tigershark was a GM sponsored design study, from 1999 or 2000 - so the Pininarina folks might very well have taken cues from it

How so?

GM produced the Tigershark concept 3 or 4 years before Ferrari released the 612. How could GM have copied a car that didn't yet exist?
