Fine looking ride there - and if the wheels are indeed chrome, they were done aftermarket. No chrome wheels came standard from the factory.

mods?? Probably just exhaust and that chrome thing behind the pipes. I see a lot of concern about taking the vette to someone for general maintanance, if the guys in Austin can tell me where they get oil changes and such, I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to the club.Nice color.
Your wheels like polished alumimun, but could be chrome. Wrap a paper towel around a magnet & if it sticks to the wheel its chrome, does not stick they are alumimun.

Well taken care of polished wheels are often mistaken for chrome.
