Radar Detector Help

I'm new to the vette seen and I've just purchased an 07' Z06 which I love. Could anyone recommend a good radar detector? I'm originally a Tri 5 guy and none of the cars I have are anywhere close to being as fast as this thing. I love my Z06!!

Valentine 1. I have had mine for 4 years and love it. These units can be upgraded and will not become obsolete.

Passport SRX radar/laser detector and laser jamer all in one. They are nondetectable by the man. I have been installing them for 3 years and everyone loves them.

I have the V1 and I like it. If I didn't already own this rd I'd try out the passport 9500i with the gps chip that y-ou can set to ignore know false radar signals (i.e. Safeway & Walgreens)

it depends on what kind or Radar local enforcement uses, up here all they use in the city is Lidar or Laser no radar detector will help with that you would need a laser blocker/diffuser. Find out what they are using

Another bump for V1... This is a fairly hotly-debated topic in these parts... Kinda like Ford vs. Chevy - you're not going to convince someone to cross-over. My advice would be to buy a couple of the latest and greatest (including the V1), try them out, and keep what you like. That's what I did, and I'm stuck on V1.
