LG Headers Installed ...Hear Me ROAR...Thanks Vengeance Racing
Finally after researching, talking to many forum members and reading every header thread known to man I took the plung and bought the LG LT Street headers in December. Never even opened the box until yesterday morning when they were loaded in the car to go to Vengeance Racing for the install.
Called Vengeance on Thursday afternoon around 4 pm and Mike answered the phone (Ron must have been really busy) and asked him if I could get the car in on Friday (yes the next morning) to have the headers installed. He said "I dont know what Ron has scheduled but I'm the owner and sure we can get you in". Ron called me back at 4:30 and I was scheduled for Friday at 8:30 am. HOW IS THAT FOR SERVICE.
Could not be happier with the overall service and work done by Mike, Ron, Charlie and the others (sorry names forgotten) that worked around the chrome bling on my C5 yesterday and installed the headers in less then 4 hours.
Have to say Mike is a tuning genious, and in three pulls he had the car dialed in. Would have had it done in two but another shop the car had previously been to in the area, missed a few tuning options and Mike had to make a few adjustments that he didnt anticipate and work his magic.
Have to give props to Anthony at LG Motorsports, who in their rush to get my headers out in early January must have missed sending the O2 extensions, but with one phone call Anthony agreed to send them to Ron at Vengeance to replace the ones used to complete the install.
For anyone that is looking for a shop of knowledgable motorheads and more importantly VERY CUSTOMER FOCUSED guys, who are also great to chat with (I spent 6 hours at their shop on Friday and felt right at home all day) give these guys a call, you will not be disappointed.
With the header ONLY installation and tuning the car picked up 29 RWHP and 38 ft. pounds of torque. Needless to say I have a smile on my face ear to ear.
Thanks again to Mike, Ron and the team at Vengeance Racing. You guys are first class all the way.

Just pretend you have amnesia so when it comes back for round two you dont add additional $$$ for removal of bling. I will do it myself and save you that hassle and myself the dollars.
Talked to Mike on Saturday at Bahama Breeze cruisin in and left you a voicemail as well. Need to schedule an evening trip back your way to get a few bugs worked out. Mike didnt have his laptop with him on Saturday or Im sure he could have killed the bugs immediately.
Lets talk and schedule a time ASAP so I can get it done. Im out of town this Wednesday and Thursday but would like to get it done later this week or maybe even Saturday AM if you guys are going to be there.
Let me know.

Curious how they know what the gain is. Did they do a pull before the headers as a base, or were they going from stock numbers??
What did you end up with? Can you post your dyno sheet?

I had the car dynoed in August when I changed from the 2.73 to 3.42 rear end, added a 78mm ported throttle body and had it dynoed.
From those numbers I added LG LT Streets only at Vengeance and they dynoed it again on their dynojet. The difference is what I posted, the August dyno numbers vs. Vengenance dyno numbers.
Now that being said, there may have been some HP and torque left on the table since August from the other shop, as Mike tuned a few things that had been overlooked in August.

Great Job.
I put LG Streets on my son's FRC last year. Absolutely the best bang for the buck on LT's. Fit and Finish are 1st class all the way.
Hard for me to justify the LG Pros when the Streets do such a great job.

I'd be happy to share the graphs but I dont have the ability to post them, as I am no puter genious.
Here is what I had done to the car for the first dyno run in August 2007:
Corsa Pace Car Exhaust
BPP Vortex Cold Air Induction
78mm Ported Throttle Body
3.42 Rear End
170 Thermostat
With the above mods the car dynoed at 313.1 RWHP & 322.2 Torque.
Add on the LG LT Street Headers, cats, X pipe ---- ONLY the car dynoed at 340.88 RWHP & 357.22 Torque.
I am have no problem sharing the info with anyone and posting it here. Its all public info for anyone that wants it.
PM me and I will be happy to send the files or if Ron from Vengeance is reading this feel free to post the dyno sheet from Friday.

Wow, didn't know one er... two parts could make that much of a difference in power. Looks like they took their time and really handled your car personally. Can't wait to get on that level with mine.
