Hi guys.... I took my 04z to the dealer to have the passanger window fixed. It has took a dump on me!! They call me today telling me it is the motor, and its going to cost a little over 600.00 to be fixed.
The car has right at 20k on it now. Is there any other z owners that have had this issue, at such low mileage? I also have the factory mod red in the car. I'm looking at getting rid of it, and asked the dealer ship if they could replace it with black.
Oh yeah..... they can for 2600.00 wtf is that all about. I just purchased some new black and tan corebua seat vendor here, So I didn't think the mod red would look good with those seats.
What do you guys think.... let the dealer rip me a new one, or is there someone else out there that could get help me find the parts to replace all mod red to black. I'll be putting my seats up for sale as soon as my new ones come in.
But if anyone can direct me into a cheaper way to go in, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks for the advice my friend. I have a aftermarket warranty on the car, with a 100 deductible. So that should help soften the blow on that. But I just posted my mod red in parts for sale. So I hope I can get that took care of without using the factory. Daummmm the factory loves to put one off in you. If it's not like we don't pay enough for the cars, that they have to go way beyond to hose us down even more!!!
Dealership = Hosein

As far as your interior, post a WTT in the F/S section. I'd bet you'll get several people that would be willing to do an even swap.
For $100 let them fix it. This is why the 0 ded warranty seems like the only way to go to me. The difference in price is easy to justify.
Good luck with the interior. I'll bet someone wants those seats.
