the overall consensus is that replacing just the bulb with an LED is pretty worthless. they do not light up as bright as the OEM bulb in the stock housing. plus, unless you have a bypass harness, you will get hyper-flash.
the real way to do LED tails is to replace the stock housings with halo LED tails or some other similar full-replacement tail light swap.
