Is This Common?
I was gazing at my beautiful backside on Friday and I noticed something sagging a little low. Went over and inspected and found the sway bar to be broken... how could this be? I don't remember hitting a very hard bump or anything.

I've heard of them breaking every once in a while in older Mustangs, but not Vettes. It's no big deal to get it replaced and you might as well get the manly Z06 bar.

When you get it off, take closeups of the broken ends and post them. Maybe there was a flaw in the material.

Are you sure it was a sway bar? See pic below. Those two black metal rods are sway bars. I don't understand how one could break. They have end links. 97-99s are plastic and 2000 up are metal. Could it be a broken end link?

I ordered the sway bar, brackets and bushings from the stealership the other day. Should be in next week.
