Yes - but will the key be good for all cars. I know the FOB can be programed.
Hmmmmm someone will chime in... As I recall you have to get it programmed at the dealership for the "key" to work in the ignition...in order to actually start the car...
Is it a key blank with a chip or just a key blank and no chip?

The FOB will work on any 97-99 after programming. Let me know if you need instructions for programming. The chip in the key has 1 of 16 different levels of resistance which can be measured if you have a digital ohm meter. If the key has been cut, it is, for the most part, usless to anyone else. If it's still a blank its worth about $10 if you can find the chips resistance. streekeys.com sells keys with chip programmed for $10 so it's probably not worth your trouble.
I have a FOB that I "Lost" for a while, then it was "found" but doesn't work anymore. Not trying to steal the thread, but can someone help?
Battery could be bad or it justs needs to be "re-learned" If you have previously programmed that FOB to that car, you can "re-learn" it by hiolding the lock and unlock buttons down at the same time for a few seconds until you hear the horn chirp. You should be successful from that. If it doesn't chirp, you may need to re-learn it to the car... more indepth process for this... It's all over the tech section.. do a search if this doesn't do it.. with a new battery.

Thank you. That answers the question about the key. Thats what I thought but just wanted to be sure. I will not include the key in the sale.
