Vettes look good in WHite, dont know why didnt make many of them. Even the C6Z i know atleast at first you had to get a "RON FELLOWS" edition to get a White C6Z. We had one at my dealership... Sexxy!

I almost bought one of these in summer of 2013 (before I bought my Torch Red), but the seller was hiding too much stuff for me to fly the 2k miles at his price
Some tool who got knocked up one of the "Sixteen and Pregnant" girls (and therefore became a "celebrity") ended up buying it... it burned to the ground after he wrecked it playing games on a city street
I should've bought it

Before this "rare" talk gets out of hand. White is RARER than red, but it isn't rare. The Z06 in a box, via the gm parts counter Z06's are rare...not white ones. Don't buy it because you think you have some collector gem...buy it to drive it and because it's a Z06. Frankly speaking as the LS7 issues mount (c6z) and the supercharger of the C7Z taints the image, it seems more and more the C5Z is the car that got it right. The FRC, the fact the car was a killer for the era, titanium exhaust...the C5Z is the car.
I cheated....lol

When you take the total production of C5 Z06's at 28,388, compare that to 352 white Z's - it is Very Rare to the tune of .01% of all C5Z production.
Yes you can paint any car any color, this discussion is about authentic white Z's.

I get tired of all the rare talk among the Corvette crowd. Over in C4 you'll hear guys talking about 1 of 450 with this color and that interior versus x amount of production...that's LA LA land my friend. You have a high production car and the fact yours is white isn't gonna amount to much unless there are 100 Z06's left in the world and you have one of the 3 white ones left. Let me tell you...that ain't gonna happen.
I'm not denying that it represents a low production number, but look at cars like the Zr1 with the ruby red anniversary package...still sitting the sea of normal ZR1 pricing. That car is GUARANTEED a collectible, but there is still no separation in value....overall, a low mile well kept ZR1 is what it is. That will very much be the case with these cars. I do believe the C5Z's will be desired many years from now, but frankly I think the Z16's will be followed by the rest and likely the 02-04's will be preferred just like now...that's how desire falls now, and the likelihood is, that won't change.
You can believe you have some unicorn, and park it in your garage telling your friends how you have this 50k Z06 because it's so rare, but...that's just crazy talk.
In the end, I love all C5Z's and mine is white and the title says white Z06 so...
And lastly, who says "to the tune"...lmao...says it all about you...haha.
Oh, and by the way, you might go check out the C4 production runs...there were many cars that had far less examples than that and guess how much more they are worth than the rest...zip...that's how much.

Also, rareness doesn't necessarily correlate to value... he only said it was rare, not valuable, and it seems that you are getting the two confused as well

It is pretty simple actually. Buy any color you like, but if you want Speedway White, you ARE going to pay more. Sure, not new car money, not Z16 money, but more, abso-fukin-lootly.
Don't believe it? Try it.
