Default Question about Vararam install.

OK...I installed mine over the weekend...I have large hands...now they are cut up...but...when putting everything back together I noticed a plug that had no place to go. I'm wondering what it does. I don't recall unplugging it at the beginning of the install. I'm including a picture to show exactly which plug...the photo is from above on the passenger side...the guy is pointing right to it. I took everything back apart looking for a spot to plug this sucker in...and found nothing...I do not have fog lights...could this be a connector for fog lights? The car runs fine...but I need to make sure. Any help is appreciated.

I think it's for the underhood light.Look on your hood above the plug if you see the connector...

Actually, that's the OAT sensor. Outside Air Temperature. Look up from under the nose of the car (on ramps or some such), and you'll see a little bulb sticking through the plastic radiator shroud. Be careful - it's a little delicate. Not expensive or hard to replace, though. I messed mine up with one of the debris screens, and had to cut a clearance around the sensor to give about a quarter inch of room.

I swear I couldn't fine this anywhere. I had to remove the plastic radiator shroud. Used a flashlight while the car was up on ramps and didn't see a thing. Where does the bulb originate from?...or...more importantly...what is the purpose of it?

It is the sensor that lets your A/C unit show you the outside temperature and shuts off the A/C when it gets too cold...

So how do you like the Vararam? Have you noticed any differences?

That has nothing to do with the Vararam.. You need to add more grease to your muffler belt....That'l fix you AC problem right away!

So far so good. I can tell a difference accelerating at highway speeds. The car almost seems to "glide along"...I have to be careful because I end up going faster than I assume I am. It pulls real good.

Your Vararam install might just be the cause of your A/C problem....

Did you sort out that external temperature sensor yet......? If not one of the things it does is mess with the A/C..... The absence of a sensor sends a fixed temperature reading....
