Any ideas for driving in the western states. Here on the east coast there aren't many places to really enjoy what the car is for because of the traffic. How about driving through some of the most beautiful county in the world, with no traffic, top down.
My idea is to have the car shipped to Salt Lake city and go from there. When the drive is over ship the car back home.
Yes, I know why don't I just rent-a-vet, or just drive my car.
Two reasons, my car has been modified and I don't want to drive in a lot of traffic on the highway forever.
I think that a great drive would be Salt Lake to Durango Colorado. From Durango to Montrose, Montrose to Vail, Vail to Colorado Springs, then Colorado Springs to Denver, Lots of great roads for cruising and very beautiful scenery to look at and enjoy.
He said WESTERN states. How about Colorado. The Tetons in Wyoming. South Dakota isn't bad.
Canon City, Colorado has a drive on this ridge of rocks. Drops off to both sides. Gorgeous.
Southern Colorado, by Durango, as some wonderful scenic drives.
Alaska and Washington are good too.
