Default 2000 C5 Key Fob Problem.....

Just went on a 6 week trip and Stored the corvette under cover and did disc the Battery while I was gone... Got home, connected the Battery car started Great.. Now the Problem both Key Fobs do not work in any way shape or Form, went out and bought one new Battery still have the Problem... Please help as I am at a Loss...


Thanks Guy's.. How did we ever get along without the Forum ???

hold the lock and unlock button untill the horn beeps. thats what happened to mine and it helped.

Same thing happened to me last week as posted here.

From 65GGVERT:

Holding down the lock and unlock buttons alone does not reprogram the fobs. It resyncs them to an already programmed car. You must enter the fob training program on the DIC to program them.


For instructions go to the Tech section and "search" under Program Remote. Worked for me.
