Depo Non Popup Lights - Ugly?

Imho
If these lights would have come from GM on new C5's, they'd be so black and blue from all the beatings that they'd never have sold enough cars to even pay for the non-recurring costs of developing the C5!

I like non popups. I think painting the housing helps a lot on the depot lights. I like them on cars with hoods that have a middle rise or bump to them. They look good on ZexZ06 with the hood he has.
I tried a pair out but didn't like the way they looked on my car, so I made my own. Not totaly done with them yet, but you get the idea.

Imo, they look terrible....and I really dont think its a matter of "hating" but just that they dont go with the body stylings of the front bumper and hood,
Not painting them to match the color of the car just makes them an even greater eyesore Makes the car look less aggressive and more happy.....i.e. gay.......LOL

^^ Like I said before, just because it looked good on a C5R doesnt mean it will look good on a street car......if anything just makes the car look more "Rice"

What I am still trying to figure out is why someone would want to start a thread like this in the first place? They are divisive and a waste of space. It's almost like the kid in jr. high who likes to start fights between other people but never enters the arena himself. Most of the stuff I see on here I would not care for on my own car. But that’s what makes the whole community as great as it is, its diversity. Most non vette folks do not understand what it's all about in the first place. Maybe all the haters will get tired of driving this kind of car and move on to a place where they will start moaning about Hondas or something else. They need to get a life.
Maybe the Mods will lock this !

And what would you say if I bolted that wing on my 02Z?
That's not even close to a valid argument.
Like it has been said before. Opinions are like A-holes, but the OP ASKED for opinions! I personally don't like the fixed lights. I think that they can rarely look OK on a car with other things done to change the lines such as a hood and chin spoiler etc. On a car with an otherwise factory front, I think they just stick out and look terrible.

On the right car they would look good. You "have" the right car!!
What do you guys Honestly think of these? If you don't like them write it. I would like any kind of feedback. My headlight motor started going out on me and decided to go non pop up. I looked around and came acrost the depo lights but didn't like the way they looked just put onto the car, especially the chrome ones that I bought because I got a good deal on them. And like I said be honest on your opinion, some will like my car and some will not. It's all about people prefrences.

Burning Brakes
I like them on the C5 & C6 (although I don't have them). I have never seen them on a C4 so I can't say how that would be. I wouldn't put them on my C3 but they might look good on some moded C3's. I have seen them on some C2's and they look okay on the rod (Shark) style Vettes. Hows that for being objective?
