last night My wife and I went to the local !!!!Club to get gas and it was closed but they had 93 octane. The other gas stations have 91 and some have 92. Does anyone really feel any difference between these types? The 93 was .02 more then the 92. I am going to fill up on the 93 and see if I can feel any difference.
Here in Phoenix the most you can buy is 91 which is ok about 6 months out of the year but when it gets over 100 it starts to knock. I use octane boost in the summer. I think in cooler climates 91 or 92 should be fine but don't put 87 in it.

You won't feel any difference whatsoever. As has been said, even with 87 you wouldn't feel much of a difference in performance, at least not right away. I wouldn't put any gas less than 91 octane in my C5 though

All I use around here is shell 91, on my drive to florida I used Cheveron 93 the whole time and I noticed a decent difference in how "peppy" the car was, I do have a tune with advanced timing so I am sure thats where it came from.

Rather doubtful that you would notice any difference between 91 and 93, unless you're running a lower thermo and had timing changed on a tune. Maybe not then. Owners manual says 87 is OK (unless tuned), however lower performance will be noticed. (Probably after several tanks.) We have 93 here, that's what I run.
