I have owned this Bra for over one year. When I drove from Illinois to Florida I put one layer of Clear Plastic Wrap on the front of my car first and then installed the Bra. I thought it would give extra protection from receiving chips on the front. I also did the same thing on the mirrors. I did not have one chip. I like this Bra alot.

Bump for you. I have one and it's great. Easy to use and a nice way to protect the front and mirrors.

Default bra

These bras are great although, at $150, they are a bit expensive for a glorified piece of spandex. I am on my second one. You want black as they seem almost impossible to clean. My first one was silver and the red shows the dirt as well. They do protect the nose and do no harm to the paint. I still have the silver one and due to trying to clean it, it became a color that I simply can't describe to you. Bugs, tar and rubber will not come out. So get the black one as it hides these elements of the road better. The snaps are very cheap as well. They snap into the wheelwells only, but I have one broken on the silver one. To me it is still the best bra in terms of protection without worry of damage to paint. But get the black one. Did I mention only getting the black one?

I have had the bra since the car was new on '03. For bug protection and ease of installation (both initial and subsequent) is unsurpassed. I do take issue with the protection from rock chips. After returning from Carlsile last Aug, The Truck ahead was dropping corn sized stones. I tried to stay back as far as possible but they kept dancin' on the road. Long story shory, I now have 8 chips in my rather expensive custom paint job. Oh well...drive it of garage it.

Love bugs kill paint. How does the bra hold up for rock dings, does it penatrate. I have a heavier bra but like the breathable one you show

Pebbles, no problem....rocks, I would not hold my breath. Anything larger than a pebble and all bets are off (but certainly better than nothing)

See ya,

Curious about cutting out for the license plate. Once it's cut out, won't the wind get in and make the cover flap, bulge or stretch when you're on the road? Anyone had any experience with cutting out for the plate?

Default Bra

I bought a black one, I wanted pewter. You do not carry pewter but grey is lighter than pewter!!!

The material is very breathable so you won't have any temperature-related problems, and all the lights will be clearly visible through the mask.

Thanks,
Dave

It usually takes me only a night or two before I get the bra off. I've gotten it down to a science.. one handed even.
