I have heard of this also but under extreme conditions. If you are in pouring down rain and you can't see because of the road film and stuff. I have poured a coke on the windshield and it will take off the grime and film. I wouldn't use it on a hot sunny day...

I got something similar at Home Depot. I don't recall the name of it though (micro-fiber something cloth). Works quite well.

Just tried one of these on the inside and outside of my windshield and the outside of my side and rear windows. Seems to have worked really well. I just lightly misted the cloth with a spray bottle of distilled water and didn't have any streaking problems at all. I'd like to use the cloth on the inside of my side and rear windows but no one has confirmed that it's safe to use on window tint. What say you, Jim?

Bought some to use on the Z06, now my wife has bogarted them to use on the mirrors and windows in the house. She and I both agree they are da bomb. No streaking, or need to use any window cleaner product, just water. Very pleased!!!!

Nobody has mentioned if you are supposed to dry the glass after using the damp cloth or just let it air dry. Seems like if you don't use a dry cloth after the damp one it will streak.

I use a Norwex window polish cloth, zero chemicals and zero streaking. My wife uses them around the house too.

After fighting the greasy film buildup on the inside of my windshield I finally broke down and bought a 3 pack of these. Wow. I'm not sure how cleaning a window/windshield could be any easier. These really do work. Thanks for selling them!
